A House for God

Throughout the story of Israel’s history and God’s plan of redemption through them, nothing was ever exactly as it should be. Despite God’s ongoing faithfulness, his people never completely lived out the mission intended for them. But throughout the struggles, their story repeatedly pointed to a hope-filled future.

These centuries of the Old Testament are best characterized by God’s people anticipating the fulfillment of the great promises that God was working to bring about. This Sunday, we will visit a covenant that God established with David, anticipating a future King whose kingdom will never end!
