"The first time we attended a service at Troy Methodist Church, we immediately felt like part of the family and couldn't wait to go back. Our kids love all the exciting children's programs. There are a lot of opportunities to grow and serve for my husband and I as well. We are inspired by Troy MC's mission to reach and serve the community with a Christ-like heart."

It's Potluck Time!
This month we will be coming together to have an All-Church Potluck that is an opportunity for fellowship and outreach! On Sunday, July 13, we will have a VBS celebration during our 10:30 a.m. worship service as the conclusion of the 2025 VBS week. During the VBS week we will be inviting all of the kids and families that have been a part of VBS to join us for worship and a meal together. We encourage you to think about bringing a dish and a half! Our hope is that the VBS families come, without necessarily worrying about bringing a meal themselves and join us in worship. We will meet in the Family Life Center right after the 10:30 a.m. service.
Families/Individuals:
Last name A - F – bring a main course (meat or casserole)
Last name G - L – bring a salad (lettuce salad, jello salad, coleslaw, potato salad, etc.)
Last name M - R – bring a hot side (beans, veggies, potatoes, etc.)
Last name S - Z – bring a dessert (pie, cake, cookies, etc.)
The church will provide all paperware & utensils, drinks and rolls; you provide a dish and a half OR two! Please bring food that will serve 12-15 people. There is no need to register, just bring a dish - it's a potluck so anything goes! If you have questions or you'd like to help with set up/clean up: contact our Discipleship Pastor, Bonnie at bonnie@troymc.org.

God's Economy Sermon Series
Jesus spent more time teaching about the Kingdom of God than any other subject matter. The Kingdom of God is God’s reign which is good news and brings salvation. If God reigns in our lives, what does that mean for those things we spend most of our time doing? We spend the vast bulk of our lives working and resting, earning and spending money, and managing the resources of God’s good creation. That’s the definition of “economy” – the management of the resources of a community. So, if we live under God’s reign, how do we live with God’s Economy in mind? Join us for this practical six-week series as we learn how to live our everyday lives as part of God’s Kingdom.
