"The first time we attended a service at Troy Methodist Church, we immediately felt like part of the family and couldn't wait to go back. Our kids love all the exciting children's programs. There are a lot of opportunities to grow and serve for my husband and I as well. We are inspired by Troy MC's mission to reach and serve the community with a Christ-like heart."

THIRD PERSON
A Series About the Holy Spirit
When it comes to understanding who God is, it’s easier to consider God as our Heavenly Father or Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father. It’s often the case that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is overlooked. This has certainly been the experience of the broader church over the last several centuries. We’re sure about the Father and the Son, but not so sure about the other one!
Over the course of the next several weeks, we will be getting acquainted with the Holy Spirit: who the Spirit is and what the Spirit does. In the end, we hope that you will not only have a real relationship with the Holy Spirit, but that you will want to be filled with the Spirit!
September 1 – John 14:15-17 – Who is the Holy Spirit?
September 8 – 16:12-15 – A Relationship with the Holy Spirit
September 15 – 1 Corinthians 12 – Gifts of the Spirit
September 22 – Ephesians 5:15-20 – Filled with the Spirit
September 29 – Galatians 5:16-25– Barriers to Life in the Spirit
October 6 – Ephesians 3:16-19 – Do you want the Holy Spirit?
