The Passover Lamb - Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter, we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem when the crowds cheered him and hailed him as King. But we also remember how things quickly turned during the week ending in Jesus’ crucifixion urged on by those same crowds. This Sunday we will celebrate together but also reflect on Jesus as our sacrificial Passover lamb - parallels that our guests from Jews for Jesus made evident in their teaching last Sunday. Most importantly, we will reflect on why Jesus would willingly take the role of a lamb being led to slaughter.
