Jesus, Our True Deliverer

Matthew 3:13-4:11

We continue our journey with Jesus to the cross this Lenten season! Jesus is our Second Exodus - a greater deliverer than Moses, bringing a greater deliverance even than the Israelites experienced coming out of Egypt. This Sunday we will look at the ways the devil tempted Jesus and discover not only how the Bible emphasizes the parallels between Jesus’ life and the Exodus, but also how Jesus succeeded where Israel failed.
