A New Way of Living

Just as the Israelites were delivered from Pharaoh for a purpose, Jesus saves us for a purpose - to be adopted into the family of God’s people and live as part of God’s kingdom! After being delivered from slavery, God gave Moses and the people his Law - an entirely new set of values and way of life than they had known in Egypt. After Jesus called a new people of God (his disciples), he gave them a powerful sermon outlining an entirely new way of living as part of God’s kingdom. This Sunday we will explore Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5-7) and discover what it takes for this New Way of Living.
