Isaiah 42:18-43:4; Romans 6:16-18
“Jesus saves!” It is hard to find a simpler summary of the Christian faith than that. God is our deliverer! He delivers his people from slavery to freedom. Savior and Deliverer! But a concept that is even more prolific in the Scriptures is the major role of God that we will be exploring this week - Redeemer. What does it mean that God is our redeemer? You may be surprised that redemption was never a religious word in the Bible, but has become central to our understanding of all that God has done for us. This Sunday at Troy Methodist Church we will discover what redemption is, and for what purpose God has gone to all lengths to save us!
