Encountering the Heart of Jesus: Forgiveness

Our Holy Week Journey has taken us from Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, all the way through the Last Supper and the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was arrested. After being put on trial, condemned, abused, and mocked, Jesus was crucified on what we know now as Good Friday. But even after experiencing the greatest injustice known to mankind, Jesus’ displayed a heart of forgiveness. How might our lives change if we embodied this same forgiveness to others?
Join us this Sunday at Troy Methodist Church as we remember Good Friday, receive the grace of God afresh, and lay down our grievances toward others. We will also be welcoming our scouting families at the 10:30 a.m. service for Scout Sunday!
