The world and all who live in it are steeped in darkness and hopelessness, without aim and without a higher purpose. It’s into this broken and fallen world that Jesus was born. Jesus came to save the world from this hopelessness and despair. Jesus came because of God’s great love, purchasing our salvation with His own life.
