The Promise

The frenetic pace of the world around us can cause our lives to be marked more by restlessness than by God's rest. In the last message in Hebrews, we were encouraged to hold fast to Christ in faith so that we don't fail to enter God's rest. But what is that rest, and how do we enter it?

In this message, we hear the promise of rest for our weary, sin-burdened souls—rest that can only be found in Christ. But we also hear the warning echoed from the Israelites' failure to enter God's rest because of their unbelief.
