Faith Extended: Athens - Christ in the Marketplace

Do you ever observe today’s culture and find yourself saying something like, “We’re not in Kansas anymore!“? Today’s society is largely non-Christian and filled with a wide variety of spiritual practices, philosophical ideologies, and political fanaticism that borders on religious devotion. In short, we live in a pluralistic society.

How is a Christian to respond? Should we retreat into a Christian bubble? Should we bend to the culture in order to win approval? Or is there another alternative?

Join us this Sunday as we continue journeying with the Apostle Paul on his second missionary journey to Athens, the intellectual and philosophical capitol of the ancient world. We will discover how we can, like Paul, live our faith outwardly in a pluralistic society.
