Pause: To Seek

The Magi, despite being foreigners with different worship customs, earnestly sought God, and God revealed himself to them through their sincere seeking. When you consider how much they sacrificed to seek God by following a star, you cannot help but be amazed at their level of commitment. This is especially revealing when contrasted with King Herod who had the holy scriptures yet the Christ child was born right under his nose. This Christmas, will you slow down enough to sincerely seek God or will you be too distracted and miss him?
