We live in an extraordinarily materialistic and consumerist society where more and bigger is always better. So much of our self-worth is found in how much we make or what possessions we have. Is it any wonder that Jesus warned us about the impossibility of serving both God and money? This week we’ll learn how to combat this rival god and about money’s proper place in our everyday life in God’s Kingdom.
